1. Cannot create new object: This is most likely because the access rights to the objects are not inheriting their access rights from the module. Maybe the module has been setup for Shareable Edit mode in the past - this will stop certain objects from having the same access rights as the module. To check if this is the case, select the object that is above where you want to create a new object, RH mouse click, select the "Properties" option (or just press CTRL-E), select the "Access" tab, have a look at the access rights - do these access rights include you, are they the same as the access rights to module? If not, the easiest way to fix this is to run the following DXL code which will force all objects to have the same access rights as the module.

Object o
Module m = current
for o in entire m do {
    inherited (o)
}

2. New Users: It's not easy to work out if any new users have been added because this will depend on having a date to determine when you consider a user to be new, and DOORS does not seem to capture the creation date of a user account. There are a number of properties that you can extract about a user account via DXL but the creation date is not one of them. Not sure if Triggers can help here to record the creation date of a user account somewhere - maybe someone with more experience with Triggers than I have can help.

In addition to what Paul said, if you lack "C"reate rights to the module, you can still open it Exclusive if you have "M"odify rights. Perhaps your rights are "RM" instead of "RMCD".

The following will print the IDs and names of all the users, in create order. New users are created with the next ID and will therefore appear at the bottom. If you run that this week and save the results, then run it next week, you can see if any are new.

User usr
string Name, ID
for usr in userList do
{  Name = usr.name
   ID   = usr.identifier
   print ID[12:] "\t" Name "\n"
}
